Gita Mandir was built by business tycoons, the Birlas, in 1970. This spectacular and beautiful shrine lies in the western ghats of Dwarka. Rukshamani mandir is another Shrine built in the 12th centaury with small structure, which is dedicated to Devi Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. The temple is a masterwork by itself with admirable carvings and artistic skills. Rich paintings of Rukmini, with her husband are painted on the walls of the Temple.
